Everyone Can be an angel - with your help!

Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of up to £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 – all raised from carrier bag sales in Tesco stores – being awarded to local community projects.

Bags of Help offers community groups and projects across the UK a share of revenue generated from carrier bag sales in Tesco store. The public will now vote in store during 1st September to 31st October on who should receive the awards.

James's Place Community Group has been lucky enough to have one of its project put forward - Everyone Can Be An Angel - for the customer vote.  Not many of our members have ever been in a Nativity Play - let alone play the part of an angel!  Vote for us and give everyone the chance to take a starring role in our Outdoor Nativity Play on December 13th at Penton Lodge.  With your help, Everyone CAN Be An Angel.  Stores where the voting will take place are:

We see James’s Place as a perfect setting to promote the world of disability, on so many levels. In the totally relaxed homely, beautiful setting, it offers young people a chance to enjoy what they like at their own pace.
